Haroun Apartments

Seismic engineering, retrofit and remodel apartment complex damaged by the Northridge earthquake. The two-story structure skid off its foundation and had to be lifted using hydraulic controlled jacks. Reinforce foundation, brace building to footing, construct shear walls and roof structures. Brace wood structure with metal connectors and lay building back over foundation. West Los Angeles, CA 1994
